Just like a man

It's a quickie, But I just couldn't pass up capping this once the inspiration hit me. You can find the unedited image here at Dee's blog. She has a bit of a caption challenge going, and I think I'm the first one to cook something up. ^_^

Last nights movie was Don't be afraid of the dark. It was an OK movie, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the set pieces. Some of them were really striking, especially the scenes with the garden and the bright orange leaves on the dark green grass. But, It felt like the tone of the story was all over the place. Like they couldn't deiced if this was a children's horror movie, or an adult horror movie. I would have enjoyed it more if they just decided which one it was, and stuck to that.

I thought you did a great job with the image. I gacked it to put into the original post with a link to this blog. Here is what I wrote there:

*** I think she did a great job on this. Short but exactly the length it needed to be. If she left out any of the preparations, and it would like like she rushed, and any more and people might have thought the listing of what she did was tedious. Perfect set up for the conclusion, though i wonder if she did that on purpose! Either way, I like it a lot, and went in a different vein than the one I did with it, so I'm glad to see this picture has legs .. and boobs and nails and makeup! ***

Nice cap Jennifer! Dee's right, the pacing and length of this is perfect. I personally didn't get anything when I saw the image, but your story fits it perfectly!

@ Dee

I certainly did do it on purpose. ^_^ As much as I wanted to expand on the story and try to beef it up, it didn't feel right. The zinger at the end is what made the whole story for me, so It only fit's that it's the main focus of the story. Any more and I'm sure it wouldn't have worked out.

@ Caitlyn

Thank you. ^_^ I'm glad to hear that you both agree! I don't do many quickie caps like this, but it was a nice change of pace for me. I also thought the just like a man angle fit Dee's humor a little more.

After I originally commented I seem to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now every time a comment is added I recieve four emails with the same comment.
There has to be an easy method you are able to remove me from that service?
Thank you!
