HAPPY NEW YEAR! Well, in a couple of hours anyway. ^_^

Today's caption is nothing unique or special, it's a pretty simple set up. But I hope you all enjoy it all the same.

And I hope you all have had a wonderful year and a wonderful Christmas.  Sorry I haven't been around too much lately, but I've been with family and just enjoying a little extra time together.

Have a wonderful and blessed 2013!

Why this picture? Because I love it!
Seasons greetings everyone!  ^_^ No caption today, but I have some links to some very special blogger's out there.

You may have heard of them already, or maybe even seen them in the link's second to the left of the screen there. But, for those that haven't heard of them, or haven't checked them out in a while, then why don't you stop on by and see what they have to offer?

First up, is Deementia. She's the one that came up with this idea so we could get the word out about smaller, lesser known or brand new bloggers out there. Saddly, I didn't get any link submissions for anyone new to my link list, but I'm having a lot of fun doing a bit of a write up on my friends and fellow caption artists.

Take Dee for example, she's developed a style all of her own over the years through wonderful use of Photoshop, and clever word play. Also, ton's of pop culture references, both well known and obscure. I picked the caption above because I think it highlights one of her strong story elements, the unaware sissy/victim.

Next up is Leeanne, from leeanne's sissy musings. She has made a couple of traditional captions that I probably could have chosen, but one of my favorite aspects of her blog is the quick sissy scenarios she posts. She takes a picture and add's a bit of text, twisting the scene to add a bit of sissy flair. But instead of picking one of them to highlight, I thought I would post a picture that she might enjoy. Oh, and she has written a story with 28 chapters! You can check it out here!

And here is Alectra! She has a lot i could have posted, but I thought I would go against the grain and post one of her quickies. She specializes in latex/magic themed captions with some split personality thrown in for good measure. She's also one of the rare caption artists that can, and does cap from the Mistresses perspective. So check her out, if your into that sort of thing. (who isn't? ;) )

And finally, we have Caitlyn from Caitlyn's masks. She has made a lot of lovely captions, and some for me personally. But I wanted to highlight the first caption I had read from her, and one of the few caps that hit me with a wave of nostalgia, from the days I would read captions on the old Lycos groups. Hard to explain what it is about this caption, but it reminds of some of the best captions I would stumble across back then, and I used to read a LOT! So only a few ever really stood out to me. If I wanted to describe caitlyns story telling ability's in just a couple of words, i would say they are very detail orientated, which i love! And follow a natural progression that makes sense. Another thing I love!

Ok, so that's it! I hope you have a great holiday season and that you enjoy all of today's artists. I'll try to keep this blog updated through out the holiday season, and I'll see you after Christmas! ^_^

Today's Caption is so short and simple, I didn't know if I should even post it on it's own. So, Today's captions is brought to you by Dee's Holiday link exchange!

Here's how it works!(rules and guidelines copied from Dee's original post. )

RULES / GUIDELINES

(1) You post below that you wish to be involved in the gift exchange, saying that you want to participate and reciprocate.

(2) I will go to your TG Captions Blog and pick a caption I like, posting a thumbnail copy in the post and a link to that caption below it. Depending on how much time I have and the number of people participating, I might give a sentence or two about why I like the caption or why they should head there to the individual blog.

(3) You do the same thing for me. You'll have a thumbnail and a link to a caption of mine in your post.

(4) This step isn't required, but I think it'd be great if you could post this on YOUR blog, looking for others to trade with. I think it'd be a nice gift for people who are just READERS of TG Captions to see how many blogs are out there, and give them exposure to some they might have missed.

(5) Make your post on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

(6) I will not link to sites that ONLY snag other people's work. This is for the actual creators only.

So, if you have a TG Caption blog, old or new, and would like to join us in this program, please make a post down below in my comments section stating that you want to sign up. I will then include you and a caption of yours in a later post, and you will do the same on your blog. It's a great way to reach a wider audience for your work!

Link exchange... get it?

Christmas sale

I'm still around! Still getting back into this and trying to catch up with some of the blogs and forums around the web. Best of all, I'm still feeling better over all. ^_^

Today's caption is something I did for the haven's 25 day's of Christmas program. It's based  on a idea I've had for a while, but sadly the layout is no where near what I had envisioned for it. I was a little pressed for time and also a bit stumped on how to make a  convincing looking website for the caption and also work in the text some how, so it doesn't ruin that look. I just hope the general idea of the story is appealing.

Not in charge

I'm starting to feel a little better, but I  still think my recent captions need just a bit more work. Which is why I basically rewrote today's entire cap, before I felt like it was ready to be posted.

I wish I kept the first draft, but I'm just happy to still have something, anything new to post at all!

Don't get me wrong, I think today's cap is one of my better efforts as of late, but I also have a few waiting to post that just feel like they.. fall short.

And While I'm at it, I would like to send my thoughts and prayers out to those that lost their lives in today's senseless shooting. I thought it was crazy to hear that someone opened fire in a movie theater, but in a elementary school? I have no words.

EDIT: Fixed the repeated text box and replaced it with more dialog. Thanks to Smitty for catching that!

Head turner

First of all, I want to thank each and every person following and reading my blog.Thank you to everyone who commented on my celebration post the other day. It means the world to me. ^_^

And thank you to those that wished me a late birthday, that means a lot too. (I'm actually 28 and the title for the cap was 21st birthday. I should have made that more clear.... >_>)

And now on to today's caption. I hope you enjoy it!

YAY! I finally hit 5 million views! OK, technically it was a day or so ago, but 5 Mil! WOO!

Today's caption is another that I felt has fallen a tad short of my usual work. It might be that this story is based on the first ever TG fantasy I can remember,  So even though I think It could be better, I still hope you all enjoy it.

And thank you SO MUCH for getting me to 5 million views!

EDIT: Thank you everyone that's congratulated me on this milestone. ^_^ It means so much to me and I never could have made it this far with out all of my readers, and friends support. THANK YOU!
