Why this picture? Because I love it! |
Seasons greetings everyone! ^_^ No caption today, but I have some links to some very special blogger's out there.
You may have heard of them already, or maybe even seen them in the link's second to the left of the screen there. But, for those that haven't heard of them, or haven't checked them out in a while, then why don't you stop on by and see what they have to offer?
First up, is
Deementia. She's the one that came up with this idea so we could get the word out about smaller, lesser known or brand new bloggers out there. Saddly, I didn't get any link submissions for anyone new to my link list, but I'm having a lot of fun doing a bit of a write up on my friends and fellow caption artists.
Take Dee for example, she's developed a style all of her own over the years through wonderful use of Photoshop, and clever word play. Also, ton's of pop culture references, both well known and obscure. I picked the caption above because I think it highlights one of her strong story elements, the unaware sissy/victim.
Next up is
Leeanne, from leeanne's sissy musings. She has made a couple of traditional captions that I probably could have chosen, but one of my favorite aspects of her blog is the quick sissy scenarios she posts. She takes a picture and add's a bit of text, twisting the scene to add a bit of sissy flair. But instead of picking one of them to highlight, I thought I would post a picture that she might enjoy. Oh, and she has written a story with 28 chapters! You can
check it out here!
And here is
Alectra! She has a lot i could have posted, but I thought I would go against the grain and post one of her quickies. She specializes in latex/magic themed captions with some split personality thrown in for good measure. She's also one of the rare caption artists that can, and does cap from the Mistresses perspective. So check her out, if your into that sort of thing. (who isn't? ;) )
And finally, we have Caitlyn from
Caitlyn's masks. She has made a lot of lovely captions, and some for me personally. But I wanted to highlight the first caption I had read from her, and one of the few caps that hit me with a wave of nostalgia, from the days I would read captions on the old Lycos groups. Hard to explain what it is about this caption, but it reminds of some of the best captions I would stumble across back then, and I used to read a LOT! So only a few ever really stood out to me. If I wanted to describe caitlyns story telling ability's in just a couple of words, i would say they are very detail orientated, which i love! And follow a natural progression that makes sense. Another thing I love!
Ok, so that's it! I hope you have a great holiday season and that you enjoy all of today's artists. I'll try to keep this blog updated through out the holiday season, and I'll see you after Christmas! ^_^
